Consulting

Many projects do not run into technical limits, but into challenges at the interface between requirement and implementation. A system integrator knows their own architecture in detail, but not necessarily every available component solution on the market. A procurement body formulates a specification without knowing what technical or commercial trade-offs it triggers. A project owner makes an early decision whose downstream costs only become visible months later - by which point a correction is already expensive and time-consuming.

The real challenge rarely lies in a lack of expertise on any one side. It lies in the fact that detailed technical knowledge, commercial reality and the language of decision-makers rarely come together in one person or one team. Engineers think in specifications, procurement thinks in prices and lead times, decision-makers think in budget and risk. When these three levels are not properly connected, friction builds up that only becomes apparent late in the project - usually when it is most costly.

Our consulting addresses exactly this interface. We bring together technical depth in electrical engineering, systems integration and lighting technology with commercial understanding, translating between the levels - clear for the engineer and for the decision-maker alike. This begins as early as the concept phase, long before the first component is ordered.

The process follows no rigid methodology, but the reality of each project. It starts with a structured needs analysis: what is the actual requirement, which parameters are fixed, where is there room for flexibility. From this comes an assessment of whether a proven standard solution can be adapted or whether bespoke development is required - a decision with a direct impact on lead time, cost and risk. During execution, we accompany implementation, check progress against the original requirement, and step in before a minor deviation grows into a larger challenge.

This support does not end at commissioning. Particularly with series deliveries or long-term projects, the value of ongoing consulting shows over time - as requirements evolve, successor products become necessary, or an existing system needs to be extended.

We advise system integrators, procurement bodies and project owners with demanding technical requirements - from the initial concept through to ongoing support after project completion.
